Snow covered streets, top down, Wu Tang, at 3am. Total driving bliss.

The Buffalo Wild Wings in the back was closed. Probably would have gotten myself a beer and snack otherwise.

Actually a good thing I didn’t do any after this pic. Was getting back into the car and saw an Explorer cruiser pulling into the lot. Officer drove over, asked if I worked there, asked if I was stuck. Told him no to both questions and said I was just taking pics of my car. He chuckled, said okay and drove off.

I do have a cone though, appeared in my apartment out of nowhere.

Doesn’t even need to be a Miata, although goodconvertible choices are limited in this segment. But RWD, a LSD, and good winter tires are the key to happiness during these cold months.

Yup. And when you don’t want to spend over say 12000 and you want a simple, cheap car that has 4 seats and is RWD you’re basically boned. The closest I’ve found is a G35 Sedan.

I just love driving around like this because people can’t fathom that its possible. There’re just so convinced you need 4WD and blah blah blah.

Yup. High mileage BMWs. Which for me is too scary. Especially scene the whole reason I’m looking to buy a car isn’t because I want something more reliable something I’m not constantly worried about.

Even Mustangs in the 8-12 range suck

The RWD requirement is what kills ya. I really like the current Mustang body style, which makes the last gen seem dated. Within the next year i’ll be buying another car and I think it could be a 2013 Civic Si sedan. Tacoma X Runner is still an option assuming I can find the right one.

This pic was from yesterday. There is still some snow on the ground but nothing on the streets or parking lots. Still have plenty of time before Spring though.

Yeah RWD, Manual, is just such a small segment of the market now. Especially when you don’t want anything bigger than a Mustang. I would consider a Genesis coupe, but that’s a test drive that will have to wait until I can get down to Minneapolis. Which is 3 1/2 hrs away

Casual is pretty cancer, but the good thing is that even in casual it takes your level and rank into account, so as you get better you’ll see less of them.

Once you’ve gotten MVP in casual a couple times I’d try ranked. Your ranked resets every time there’s a new DLC, so even if you suck and get put in Bronze you’ll get to start fresh when the next DLC hits. Although tbh Bronze is almost just as bad as casual. I started this season in high silver/low gold and after a loosing streak would up in low silver. I’m Bronze 2 right now and don’t think I’ll ever get back out this season lol.

But if you manage to get into silver there’s almost none of that bullshit.

Think my rank is like 17. Planned on doing ranked once I made 20. Didn’t know about bronze, silver, gold.

I saw a bell curve of the ranks a while ago and IIRC silver is basically the middle of the bell curve 40-60% of players, gold is were it starts narrowing down (60-90%) and then the skinny part is Platinum and Diamond which is less than 10% IIRC.

There’s also copper, but thankfully I’ve never deranked that far.

Also I guess I’ll give you some info about some of the DLC ops since their abilities aren’t very intuitive.

Lesion (Guy in Kaki shorts)- has those poison mines you step in and have to pull out. He has an icon over all his mines which goes away when you step in it. So just know that he probably knows where you are afterward. He also has seven of those mine, but he gets them through out the round not all at once.

Caviera (Chick with the facepaint) if you’re down but not out. She can interrogate you which puts wall hacks on all your teamates (Like when a defender runs outside) So if your alive and you see “Your position has been compromised” Your exact position is shown to the defending team for 15 seconds or so.

Jackal (Dude with the life saver looking thing)- On defense if you get a thing saying “Jackal is tracking you” or “You’re being hunted” then Jackal scanned your footprints and the attacking team will get a ping of your location every 5 seconds for 30 seconds I believe. The best thing to do is just to run into the objective and stay away from any breakable walls. You’ll also see in the bottom left corner, when the next ping is going to happen. So you can move right before it and move back so they won’t know exactly where you are.

Mira (Puts up those black windows)- They’re bulletproof one way mirrors. There’s a red canister on your side that if broken drops the mirror to just leave a whole. If your on defense, never drop mira’s mirrors unless she’s dead and there’s only one or two attackers left and you can see them. 90% of the time, things are going to go well for defense if the mirrors get dropped. Also twitch’s drone (shock drone) can drop them if it shoots the canister, so watch for that on defense. Also be VERY cautious if you see one on a breakable wall (in fact just GTFO, you won’t win lol) people put them there then when they see you they shoot you through the wall. So stay the hell away from those. Also same thing if you see two right next to each other (typically on reinforced walls) and one is dropped. Because they’ll see you through one and aim then move to the open one and shoot you and it’s nearly impossible to defend yourself from.

Ela (Pale green haired girl) Just op af really, but you’ve probably already figured that out since she’s picked almost every round :) But don’t feel too bad about it, everyone else hates her just as much too (except people who play as her.)
